Erasmus students have arrived at AWF! In the winter semester we have the pleasure of hosting 10 students who came from Portugal, Spain, Turkey, the Czech Republic and Slovenia.
They traditionally made their first steps in the Welcome Center, where registration took place and welcome packages were handed out. Immediately after the formalities, the students headed to the library. There, at the Erasmus Meeting Point, they learned about organizational matters, there was time to ask questions and talk. Our reliable library team showed the Erasmus students around the library, then Ms. Olha Kostiv took over the group and showed them the whole campus. Ms. Olha has been through Erasmus mobility more than once, thanks to her experience and openness our guests got to know the campus like the back of their hands. They spent such a pleasant time that immediately afterwards they set off with the whole group to the city to enjoy the charms of Wroclaw 🙂
The next day, Erasmus students again met in the city centre, this time to explore the most beautiful areas. Seated comfortably in a Melex they had a chance to admire, among other things, the nooks and crannies of the Old Town, Ostrów Tumski and the Centennial Hall Complex. The weather was exceptionally good that day, making Wrocław look really spectacular! After a tour full of excitement, it was time for lunch.
We opted for tradition, and served the team pierogis. Obviously, it was a hit! Everyone loved the Polish dumplings from the first bite.
After Welcome Days it was time for the first classes, we keep our fingers crossed for everyone and wish them a successful stay at our sunny university!
