From September 9 to 12, 2025, the EAIE 2025 Conference and Educational Fair took place in Gothenburg. The Wroclaw University of Health and Sport Sciences was represented by Monika Ilecka-Folcik from the Erasmus Centre and Renata Bartkowiak from the Centre for Promotion and Communication. The event attracted over 7,000 experts and 250 exhibitors from around the world, with Poland represented by the national stand “Study & Research in Poland,” organised by NAWA. Participation in the conference provided a series of intensive and inspiring meetings that facilitated the exchange of experiences among representatives from universities and institutions worldwide. These discussions focused on best practices, challenges in international education, and opportunities for expanding cooperation within the Erasmus programme. The event also fostered the establishment of numerous contacts that could lead to new academic and educational partnerships. Promising discussions regarding potential Erasmus partners were held with various institutions, including:
- Universidad Europea del Atlántico, Spain
- Université Toulouse – Jean Jaurès, France
- Haliç University, Turkey
- National University of Physical Education and Sports, Romania
- Estoril Higher Institute for Tourism and Hotel Studies, Portugal. Additionally, the event strengthened relationships with existing partners and encouraged the exchange of knowledge and experiences, which is extremely valuable for the further development of educational programmes and student mobility.
